And don’t get mad at the crazies out there, just let them go.

The company was nice enough to let me intern as a junior rather than a senior.
What I wish was different
I was very mismanaged. I wish the expectations of me were more clearly set. I wish that I could have worked with QA automation more than I did.

Paid Intern
August 2019 • Salt Lake City, UT
What I liked
Working for the Church is an amazing opportunity to learn and to feel recognized. On my first day of work, I had the opportunity to meet amazing brothers and sisters, who treated me very well. Also, I had the opportunity to learn a lot of my direct leader, who taught me everything about my responsibilities. I love working for the Church and have the opportunity of helping in the Kingdom, with the company of the Holy Spirit.
What I wish was different
My integration day, the one before my first day of work, I felt a little bit lost, but maybe because I was a little bit nervous.
Advice
In my case, as an international student, with a high experience working in another companies, my advice is to be humble and faithful. Humble because been at the church is not the same as been in a traditional company, we don't need to be proud or worried of showing of our previous skills or experiences, because, in my opinion, at the church, we are all the same and what matter most is our faithful, and will of helping people and also, being nice to each other.
