There were tons of opportunities to meet and network with people in upper management, and there were lunch-and-learns on a pretty much weekly basis. They do a great job training you in all of the software that you will need to use as well.

What I liked
Kimley-Horn is great at teaching and preparing interns for fulltime. It wasn't all busy work, it was work that a fulltime employee would normally do

What I liked
The company is full of highly motivated individuals who are really there to help you learn. The company clearly values all employees, even the interns. My supervisor made sure to keep me busy but not overwhelmed with work.

Nothing, this was a great experience.

Don't be afraid to ask questions! Everyone at the company (even the higher-ups) is very receptive to questions.
