I enjoyed the flexibility and also the tuition reimbursement

They could do a lot better with acknowledging the fact that chipotle is not for life and students are only doing this for financial reasons and not trying to make a career out of chipotle

Very disorganized and gave me more hours than i wanted. Wasnt able to do much else this summer because of long closing shifts 5 days a week with very little time between schedule posting and first shift. Couldn't plan a thing.

Be very clear about how many hours you want to commit to.

Take the time to weigh the pros and cons of a job not only before you get it but while you're in it and after to examine the job and how it impacted you. Good resume fuel!

I liked the responsibility. I also liked the cleanliness that Chipotle holds their restaurants to be.

What I wish was different

I wish that Chipotle had not micromanaged as much as they had and that they treated their employees better.

Advice

If you go to work for Chipotle, expect it to be very hard work and very customer oriented. With the amount of work that they have they should be paying more than other fast food, but they're average. They care more about their customers than their employees, but this will teach you how to work and how to manage your time properly to get things done.

You are working in the fast food industry which means you will be on your feet and moving a lot, as well as interacting with an array of people. You have to be patient.

I’ve worked for the company for a couple of years now and overall it’s been an enjoyable experience. I’ve have to take a couple leave of absences for school and each time I am welcomed back with open arms.

What I wish was different

My store in particular has gone through many general managers and that, in my opinion, causes the growth of the store to slow down.

Do your best at doing your job and you can move up in he company as well as make th company better.

What I liked

The people at the job are phenomenal and you can score some awesome connections through getting to know coworkers and managers.

What I wish was different

The environment is high paced and high stress, so it's definitely not for everyone. It involves a lot of recognizing your mistakes and learning from them. Management can often be critical.

Advice

You get what you put into it- you can move up quickly if you're willing to put in the hard work, or you can stay at the same position for the duration of your job. Chipotle is a decent food service job, better than most other fast food, and it pays well.
