Analytical Chemist

We are seeking a driven Chemist to join the team and contribute to exciting, cutting-edge materials testing projects.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain advanced analytical instruments, including Dilatometer, DMA, DSC, FTIR, GC, and TGA
  • Perform statistical analysis and accurately report testing data
  • Develop, validate, and document test methods by ASTM, ISO, and customer requirements
  • Prepare technical reports, summaries, and work instructions
  • Collaborate closely with customers and internal teams to interpret data and address technical challenges
  • Ensure all testing activities comply with ISO 17025 standards
  • Lead and contribute to special research and development projects
  • Travel as needed for training or to support other manufacturing sites

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Minimum: Associate degree in a science-related field with hands-on experience operating analytical equipment

Must live in NE Ohio, and be willing to work on-site every day.  No relocation at this time. 

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field

Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
