Agency Overview
The Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM), which oversees over $2 billion in capital programs and projects, is responsible for capital planning, project delivery, property management, and real estate services for the Commonwealth. We are stewards of the Commonwealth’s assets, which include 61 million square feet of state buildings. As an agency, we care for the people of our state and the future of our planet.

Job Description
DCAMM seeks candidates pursuing degrees in construction management, architecture/planning, and mechanical or civil engineering who are interested in learning how their field of study relates to public design and construction.
Coop up to 6 months, starting as early as this summer or as late as the end of calendar year 2025, up to full time hours.
Duties
Review design and construction documents for compliance with sound engineering principles.
Assist with preparation for, and attend weekly project meetings. Review meeting minutes.
Review payment requisitions, change orders, project schedule, reports, project documentation (including as builds, warranties). Assist with oversight and verification of contractor performed construction work.
Help with review of punchlist items and project close-out.

Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing;
Ability to gather information through questioning individuals and by examining records and documents.
