Duties
Major Duties include:
- Supervises the staff in the Interagency Communications Center and is responsible for day-to-day operations. Provides and evaluates training for staff.
- Receive emergency and non-emergency calls for service on a daily basis.
- Directs personnel and equipment to emergency medical, law enforcement and fire incidents.
- Uses multi-channel voice and compute data systems to monitor situations to properly direct and allocate officers and ranger where and when needed. Provides a latitude/longitude or a Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM) location.
- Operates a number of public safety computer networks.
