Industrial Engineer Intern - Capacity & Routing Summer 2025

INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER CAPACITY & ROUTING SUMMER INTERN

SUMMER INTERNSHIP

During the internship, college students will:

● Work on an individual project with your direct team

● Work with other interns on a group project

● Interact with leadership in the company, including VPs

● Network across functions and teams

● Participate in social and team building activities

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

● Must be able to work in the US without sponsorship now and in the future 

● Graduation Dates:  December 2025 - May 2027

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

Standardize and improve Routing information for both assembly and the several fabrication departments. Analyze capacity based on future demand and the Routing information. Help develop new models and approaches for capacity and other related analyses.

 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

● Learn the manufacturing process for the assigned project from cross-functional subject matter experts

● Gather, organize, and classify the relevant data for the assigned the project

● Build model and analyze the capacity using the data gathered

● Present findings, insights and recommendations from the analysis

 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

During the internship, college students will gain the below skills:

● Experience in developing approaches and preparing data for analysis

● Learn various manufacturing processes and their basic information recorded in Routings

● Strong communication skills to deliver the message to any level of the organization – with clarity required at each level
