00000427896 Systems Engineer, KC-46 (Associate, Experienced)
This role will primarily be responsible for integration for the SEIT RVI Team on KC-46. This will include integration internal to the RVI team as well as across the program. The main tasks being obsolescence management (applying an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan and develop a solution to obsolescence issues with the various IPTs) and development project integration (ensuring proper planning and execution of tasks across the team and projects).
Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Associate and Experienced Level Systems Engineers.
Position Responsibilities:
Run internal and customer working groups
Prepare and present quarterly presentations for the customer
Maintain program plans, databases, and logs and support all development programs
Project integration for ongoing and new development across RVI
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
Prior experience in systems engineering performing system architecture development, systems integration, and/or hardware/software design and analysis
Prior experience working with FAA and or Military type certification requirements
Prior experience with Hardware Configuration Management
Strong communication, presentation, and project management skills
Ability to integrate and interact across a variety of teams and team structures
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills & Experience):
Familiarity with commercial derivative airplane (CDA) certification types (i.e. ATC/STC/MTC) and associated processes to include major/minor determination
General knowledge of Technical Subcontract Management to include Supplier Management responsibilities
Process development and implementation
Typical Education/Experience:
Associate (Level 2): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Experienced (Level 3): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary pay range (Associate - Level 2): $87,550 - $118,450 Summary pay range (Experienced - Level 3): $104,550 - $141,450.
