Are you interested in being part of a dynamic administrative team responsible for ensuring California’s vast water programs are sufficiently assessed and funded?  The State Water Resources Control Board’s Division of Administration Services, Fee and Revenue Branch has an opening for a Management Services Technician. The position works in hybrid conditions; the office setting is located at 1001 I Street, on the 18th Floor, right in the heart of downtown Sacramento next to light rail stations and other public transportation. The work schedule is Monday through Friday.  Currently, the position requires work in the office two days a month, one day a week during the fee billing season and as required based on operational needs of the position.  Note the hybrid in-office to telework day ratio is subject to change at any time.  

The Management Services Technician (MST) is responsible for providing timely and professional technical/clerical support to staff, assistance to the public and Department staff, by phone, e-mail, and in person. The MST is required to communicate effectively, perform technical research, manage multiple tasks, and become proficient in the various Fee and Revenue Branch fee program billing and collection processes. Daily, proficient utilization of office equipment and the Microsoft Office Suite is required.

Candidates must possess essential personal qualifications including integrity, initiative, dependability, good judgment, the ability to work cooperatively with others, and the ability to perform the assigned duties of the class.

Salary information – CalHR salary rules allow appointment at the entrance rate (Cal. Code Regs., tit. 2, § 599.673) of a classification. For classes with alternate ranges, placement is based on education/experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $3,353.00 - $4,743.00 per month
