What You'll Be Doing

  • Create and continuously improve the systems for the elimination of downtime in manufacturing and utilities.
  • Responsible for capital project budgets & will manage capital projects for new equipment or upgrades to existing systems.
  • Oversee the maintenance of the electrical power distribution system for the plant.
  • Comply & provide all corporate requirements.
  • Assist with developing the 3-5 year Facilities plan for the Mountain Home plant.
  • Develop, implement programs & practices to 100% compliance with applicable federal, state, local and Baxter regulations & practices.
  • Assure the execution of the Facilities maintenance programs.
  • Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives.
  • To lead the zero-harm initiative at Baxter.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Electrical engineering is a plus.
  • 3-5 years’ proven experience in Facilities support, equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
  • Working knowledge of roofing systems & pressure vessels (boilers/ steam).
  • Knowledge of machine safety applications, maintenance systems, industrial processes, electrical systems, electrical wiring diagrams, safety, electrical code, and safety regulations.
  • Experience with machine hydraulics, machine pneumatics, machining, maintenance, fabrication, fire protection systems, PLC machine logic, motor controllers and servo drives.
  • Experience in 6s and lean based systems implementation.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $88,000 - $121,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
