Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Project Design Intern to join the Wattstopper Team in Richardson, TX. The successful candidate will be tasked with learning and providing technical support for Applications Engineers. Incumbents will learn about Wattstopper products, including Building Automation Integrators connecting to Wattstopper lighting control systems.

What Will You Do?

 1. Under direction of Application Engineers, provide application engineering support for Ethernet, BACnet, and Niagara networks, Architectural dimming systems and related products.

2. Learn to review electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications and apply the information to a set of specific Watt Stopper products to meet the intent of the project documents.

3. Supports submittal generation, control programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting of Watt Stopper systems.

4. Performs other similar and related duties as required.

Education:

Associates or working towards a B.S. degree in Engineering.

Experience:

Experience working with AutoCAD and/or Bluebeam. Exposure to lighting controls and building automation preferred but not required. Experience providing technical support preferred.

 · Excellent communication and organization skills; good time management and task prioritization skills

· Excellent analytical skills for troubleshooting and issue resolution; must be able to pay close attention to detail.

· Able to evaluate situations, identify options and suggest effective solutions quickly and efficiently.

· Self-motivated, with excellent ability to work individually with minimal supervision
