The State Water Resources Control Board’s Division of Financial Assistance has an opening for a Water Resource Control Engineer in the Office of Sustainable Water Solutions’ Small Community Drinking Water / Wastewater Planning and Construction Section. The position is located at 1001 I Street, 18th Floor, Sacramento CA 95814, right in the heart of downtown next to light rail stations and other public transportation.

Duties:

The Water Resource Control Engineer performs a variety of complex professional tasks related to planning, design, construction, management, and implementation of water quality protection and improvement projects.

Candidates must possess essential personal qualifications including integrity, initiative, dependability, good judgment, the ability to work cooperatively with others, and the ability to perform the assigned duties of the class.

Salary information – CalHR salary rules allow appointment at the entrance rate (Cal. Code Regs., tit. 2, § 599.673) of a classification. For classes with alternate ranges, placement is based on education/experience.
