We are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems and components. Responsibilities:
- Design and Development: Lead the design and development of mechanical systems and components from concept to production, ensuring functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Engineering Analysis: Conduct engineering analysis, including stress analysis, thermal analysis, and finite element analysis (FEA), to validate designs and optimize performance.
- CAD Modeling: Utilize CAD software to create detailed 3D models and engineering drawings, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
- Prototyping and Testing: Coordinate prototyping activities and conduct thorough testing to validate designs and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams and project managers, to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems with other subsystems.
- Documentation: Prepare comprehensive design documentation, including specifications, test plans, and reports, to communicate technical details and project status effectively.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in mechanical engineering, and leverage this knowledge to drive continuous improvement in design processes and methodologies.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, codes, and safety requirements applicable to mechanical systems and components.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field / Equivalent work experience
- Experience in mechanical design and development, preferably in a product development or manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in Inventor and CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, COMSOL).
- Experience working in industries such as Farming and Ranching.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct engineering analysis and interpret results.
- Experience with prototyping techniques and testing methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to learn new things and to be teachable
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) principles.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
Benefits:
4 Day Work Week Monday- Thursday
Hours: 6am-3:30pm
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $50,000-65,000 DOE
