Manufacturing Engineering Project Management Co-op

Real World Responsibilities:

During your time with us you will:

  • This position will work closely with Manufacturing and Design Engineering leadership throughout the duration of the assignment to develop a global platform for sharing standardized practices for New Product Introduction.
  • Candidates will be required to understand the manufacturing processes and methods used to articulate any necessary standards so that it can be properly documented.
  • In some cases, the position will be required to help author new standards while working closely with NPD teams.
  • Position will require a background design engineering fundamentals (mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems) in order to properly develop necessary documentation.  PFMEA’s will be developed in these circumstances.
  • Candidate is required to understand lean methods.

Must haves:

  • Currently pursing or recently graduated from an ABET accredited Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering or related field
  • Able to work full-time 40 hours per week for 6 months in Redmond, WA or Bothell, WA on a hybrid schedule
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.  Candidate must be able to utilize MS Teams.
  • Prior experience in project management is strongly preferred.

 

 

The compensation for this position is $26/hr for undergraduate interns and $28/hr for graduate or returning interns. This position is eligible for holiday pay, but is not eligible for medical benefits.
