Position Summary

This position is part of Parker's Electronic Motion & Controls Division (EMC) which provides technologies that create and control motion to customers across a wide range of applications and industries. This exciting opportunity allows you to become part of a team that aligns products and worldwide engineering and manufacturing capabilities to build our presence in a growing electrification space. EMC brings together decades of controls and electronics design and manufacturing expertise with significant growth opportunities presented by our mobile electrification and industrial efforts.

This person will have the opportunity to work within our Technical Support Engineering team on multiple projects. This role assists engineers with activities related to the improvement of product flow on our production floor and assist in troubleshooting production an test issues.

Candidates who meet the following minimum qualifications are invited to apply

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA’s):

  • Ability to effectively read and interpret blueprints.
  • Solid communication skills required and the ability to work as a part of a team.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
  • Ability to sit at a computer for up to 4 hours at a time; ability to lift up to 10 lbs.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Jr/Sr year students enrolled in an engineering program; or enrolled in their final semester of a 2-year Engineering program.
  • We are open to reviewing candidates from a multitude of Engineering and Computer Science majors.
