MS&T Cell Culture Intern

Education Required:

Actively pursuing an undergraduate degree preferably in science, biochemistry, biotechnology, biology, chemical engineering and/or related discipline.

 

General Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Cell Culture MS&T Department for a dynamic hands-on experience. As a MS&T Cell Culture Intern, you will actively contribute to the setup and operation of equipment in our state-of-the-art laboratories. This internship offers a comprehensive learning experience where you will work closely with skilled scientists and engineers in the Cell Culture field. By the end of the internship, you will have acquired practical skills in laboratory operations, Cell Culture processes, and compliance with regulatory standards.

 

Essential Functions of the job:

  • Assist in the setup of equipment in various Cell Culture laboratories, ensuring proper configuration and functionality.
  • Conduct equipment testing and verification procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability in laboratory processes.
  • Collaborate in the preparation of technical transfer documentation, as required, to facilitate seamless transitions between processes and teams.
  • Acquire hands-on experience in adhering to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), and Good Documentation Practice (GDP) standards to maintain high-quality laboratory operations.
  • Provide support for Continuous Process Verification of GMP Cell Culture, involving meticulous data collection and analysis utilizing relevant software tools, particularly JMP.
  • Actively participate in global cross-functional project team meetings, gaining exposure to Process Development and Process Characterization initiatives within the organization.

Pay Rate: 27.50/hour - Bachelors
