DESCRIPTION
We are seeking Interns for Summer 2024.
With an office in Salt Lake City, the successful Civil Transportation Interns will work under the direction of a Project Engineer or Project Manager supporting the transportation department with technical duties and daily activities. Assignments will include data gathering, moderate calculations and analysis for roadway, drainage, and structural needs and other transportation related documents. Administrative tasks may include filing, organizing paper and electronic project files, assisting with other meeting materials, and providing scheduling support as needed.
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Working toward a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or similar program; minimum of 3 years of coursework completed
- Focus in Transportation Practice preferred
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Software proficiency – Microsoft Office
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in organization and presentation of documentation
COMPENSATION
The approximate compensation range for this position is $20-24 per hour. This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skillset, and physical work location.
