Manufacturing Internship

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Project Details:

The internship entails conducting a comprehensive GAP analysis of the production lines involving allergen controls, identifying any deficiencies, and proposing necessary revisions for improvement. Additionally, interns will audit production routings against the software systems, collaborating with the team to implement required adjustments for greater efficiency and accuracy. This hands-on experience provides interns with opportunities to engage in critical analysis, problem-solving, and process enhancement within a manufacturing environment.

EDUCATION

  • Attending four-year college or university to attain Bachelor's degree (B.S., or B.A.); or already awarded Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university. Preferred study of Food Science, or Engineering related fields.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, project leadership, analytical, and reasoning skills.
  • Self-starter and a team player that will thrive in an entrepreneurial environment with a sense of urgency.
  • Microsoft Suite

SKILLS

Language Skills

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents.
  • Ability to make effective presentations on complex topics to plant management and other stakeholders.

Mathematical Skills

  • Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations.
  • Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis

Reasoning Ability

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
