Enterprise Engineering Internship

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Project Details:

Participating in Project Engineering functions throughout our different manufacturing locations:

  • Assisting on layout drawings for various projects across all of Amy's Manufacturing sites.
  • Working through the Capital Project Management Excellence (CPME) process for various projects. 
  • Participating in the Commissioning Qualification Validation (CQV) process.
  • This project will require communicating across internal teams and external vendors. 
  • Project mentorship with the Director of Engineering
  • Some travel required between our California, Oregon, and Idaho locations. (covered by company)

Qualifications and Skills

EDUCATION

  • Attending four-year college or university to attain Bachelor's degree; or already awarded Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university. Ideally Mechanical, Chemical, Automation Controls or Electrical Engineering.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and MS Office software.
  • Some electrical understanding of utilities (medium voltage) and safety aptitude.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Time management.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, project leadership, analytical, and reasoning skills.
  • Self-starter and a team player that will thrive in an entrepreneurial environment with a sense of urgency.

SKILLS

Language Skills

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents.
  • Ability to make effective presentations on complex topics to plant management and other stakeholders.

Mathematical Skills

  • Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations.
  • Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis

 Reasoning Ability

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables

Compensation range for the Santa Rosa, CA area:

$17.40-23.00 per hour

*Other locations may be subject to a lower range
