Transportation Technician 3 

Burlington/Mt. Vernon, WA – Northwest Region 

$43, 428 - $80,112 Annually

Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Transportation Technician (In -Training) in the Burlington area.  This position supports the WSDOT mission by assisting the Burlington Project Engineering Office (PEO) project team through design development, contract development, and construction management of highway improvement and preservation projects. This position prepares and reviews plans & cost estimates, performs topographic surveys, and performs other basic engineering tasks. This position helps ensure that highway construction projects are designed, constructed, and administered in compliance with agency policies, procedures, and practices. This position is critical in fostering a respectful and healthy work environment with focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
