Day-to-Day Activities 

Design parts and equipment for Cryogenic Carbon Capture test platform 

Build and assemble test equipment prototypes and structures 

Create 3D parts and assemblies in Autodesk Inventor and SolidWorks 

Participate in operating skid-scale test equipment 

Communicate and present status updates on projects 

Provide support for engineering team  

Preferred Professional Experience 

Hands-on experience with some kind of building or manufacturing preferred 

Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point 

Experience with a CAD program (currently using Inventor and transitioning to Solid Works) 

Required Education  

High school diploma or GED 

Actively enrolled and pursing an engineering degree (mechanical or manufacturing) at an accredited college or university with first year completed 

Physical Work Environment Requirements  

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. 

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. 

While performing the duties of this job the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts. 

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
