Quality Control Specialist

We are looking for a Quality Control Specialist

What we bring to you:

  • $55,000-$60,000 annually DOE, plus annual bonus dependent on company profitability

What our Quality Control Specialist does:

  • Ensure goods and/or services requests are submitted in line with specified cost, quality, delivery targets focused on defined performance levels and requirements
  • Support the general purchasing function and stakeholders, communicating any supply challenges which may impact business operations
  • Ensure compliance to company guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures
  • Set up and implement quality and product testing procedures and document and report results for purposes of assessing suppliers and best sources of supply
  • Act as an interface between suppliers and other relevant departments on purchasing processes
  • Provide analysis reports on quality, inventory, costs, and review cost reduction activities
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly metric reports
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvements
  • Continually analyze information gathered from above listed activities to identify to management opportunities to improve processes. Develop programs to facilitate recommended improvements.

What you need to have:

  • BA/BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control processes.
