Position: Civil/Structural Engineering Project Manager

Location: Cedar City, Utah

Job Type: Full-time

Job Description: As a Civil/Structural Engineer at CD Consulting Engineers, Inc., you will wear many hats and fill man roles, but will find fulfillment in meeting the needs of various clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform civil and structural analysis and design using industry-standard software and tools.
• Prepare detailed construction documents including drawings, calculations, and specifications.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop innovative solutions that meet client requirements and project goals.
• Perform site visits and investigations to assess structural conditions and provide recommendations.
• Review and analyze project documentation to ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and standards.
• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to address project needs and concerns.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited University.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or working towards licensure.
• Experience in structural analysis software and other modeling software such as AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, Visual Analysis (similar to RISA), BIM, Word and Excel.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations related to structural design and construction.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Any type of Hands-on Construction experience is a plus.
