Videographer Intern

Camp Skylemar, a residential summer camp in Maine, is building our video production staff for its upcoming summer, from June 18 to August 12, 2024. Camp Skylemar is hiring exceptional students who've demonstrated professional-level skills in filming, content creation, and video production. Our mission is to make a positive impact in the world, one child at a time.

Daily duties will include conceiving and shooting video/digital content for the campers, staff, and activities. During the summer, the video team will produce topic-based production segments (highlight reels) to be published on social media and shared with camp families. Video staff will be building those segments into a 90-minute end-of-camp presentation.

Qualified candidates will meet the following requirements:

* Has completed upper-level or graduate coursework related to video production & editing

* Has a prominent online portfolio of work demonstrating extensive skills behind a camera and in post-production

* Has superior proficiency in Adobe Premier Pro and After Effects

* Has a drive to succeed in a creative, deadline-based work environment

Camp Skylemar is a well-established (since 1948) recreational summer camp, located in southern Maine. The state of Maine is more than a destination – it’s an experience that will take your breath away.  There’s so much to explore and enjoy from the beaches to the mountains In summer, there’s no better place to be than in Maine. 

Salary for the summer is $3,500 - $4,000 depending on experience.  We also provide free housing, meals, round-trip travel expenses, staff clothing, time off, WIFI, and a laundry service.  Most educational institutions require prior approval before the start of an internship. Check with your institution to be sure this opportunity meets any requirements.
