Engineering Design AA

Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and two (2) years of professional civil engineering experience and possession of an Engineering - In - Training Certificate (EIT); or any combination of experience and training which enables one to perform the essential job functions. Experience with AutoCAD, TerraModel software, and GIS preferred. Must possess a valid Tennessee Drivers License.

  1. Engineering Designer A – Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.   Must possess a certification as an Engineer-In-Training (EIT).  Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license as a condition of continued employment. 
     
  2. Engineering Designer AA – Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and two (2) years' professional civil engineering experience.  Must possess a certification as an Engineer-In-Training (EIT).  Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license as a condition of continued employment. 
     
  3. Design Engineer – Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and four (4) years' experience in civil engineering with at least two (2) of those years in a supervisory/lead capacity.  License to practice engineering in the State of Tennessee or current qualification to be licensed within six (6) months as a condition of continued employment.  Must possess and maintain a valid driver license as a condition of continued employment.
