Job Description:  

This Senior Technician is technical services work in performing difficult and moderately complex engineering duties in a variety of field and office engineering specialties, requiring the ability to use complex electronic survey equipment and related software, computer skills to process survey data, and perform editing tasks associated with research and data entry in Realty Management System (RMS).

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting topographic, GPS, construction, and other survey work as part of a field crew,
• Researching and the acquisition of public and civil records,
• Entering the data of Property Owner Reports (PORs),
• Tracking inventory, maintenance and calibration of survey equipment, and,
• Training other Technicians with our new equipment.

The Senior Technician may act as survey crew chief on an as-needed basis. 

This position requires attention to detail and a commitment to acquiring accurate survey and property information. Applicants with prior survey experience will be given preference for this position.

To be minimally qualified for this position candidates must provide evidence of the following experience:

Eight (8) years of experience in engineering -OR- a Bachelors Degree in Engineering or a related technical field and four (4) years of engineering experience -OR- an Associate Degree in Engineering or a related technical field and six (6) years of experience in engineering.
