Entry Level Engineer (EI)

Engineering Consulting firm specializing in Geotechnical and Materials Engineering. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who wants to learn and grow in their career.
  • Must be detailed, self starter and have a true desire to be part of a team.
  • Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, weekends, and 40+ hours per week, as needed.

ENGINEERING INTERN (EI)
1. STAFF ENGINEER 1
Entry-level, graduate engineer with Bachelor’s degree or student nearing completion of a Bachelor’s degree in civil, geotechnical, or geological engineering, preferably with an E.I. certification. Under the direction of experienced Cesare personnel, builds basic knowledge of principles of geotechnical engineering, materials engineering, and standard construction practices.
• Learns the Core Values, Mission Objective, and Vision and begin to implement into daily routines and duties.
• Develops skills and knowledge necessary to gather, organize, and analyze field and laboratory data, read/interpret reports, construction plans, and specifications.
• Develops skills and knowledge necessary to perform field and laboratory technician duties and site studies.
• Consistently practices organization, cleanliness, and attention to detail, quality, and safety.
• Develops the skill and knowledge to read, review, and understand test procedures, standards, plans, and specifications.
• Uses prescribed methods, standard techniques, and practices to perform beginning level geotechnical and civil engineering assignments and drafting under the guidance of experienced engineers/personnel.
• Interacts with other employees, contractors, and clients in the course of performing tasks.
• Expected to become an active member of regular attendance at a local branch of a professional organization related to materials testing, construction, and/or geotechnical/geological/civil engineering.
• Performs the above engineering assignments under the general direction of a licensed professional engineer.
• An entry-level position.
