Process Development Engineer Intern - Memory Development

Texas Instruments is seeking a Process Development Engineering Intern within the Advanced Technology Development (ATD) Group. We work to define and develop the next generation process and device technologies for TI. Semiconductor components such as CMOS and bipolar transistors, resistors and capacitors are center of technology development. This engineer will be a key member of a team that defines and develops components and the process flows to achieve component performance and reliability needs.  

 Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

·       Semiconductor component design and development

·       Characterizing and analyzing process and electrical data

·       Defining electrical test circuits to assess component performance

·       Assessing the reliability of the metal and dielectric of the interconnect system

·       Working within the team to drive the necessary actions to meet component requirements

 

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing Masters or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Physics or related Engineering field
  • Minimum Cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA

Preferred Qualifications:

·       Strong semiconductor device physics background

·       Strong verbal and written communication skills

·       Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions

·       Ability to take the initiative and drive for results, influential relationships

·       Good listener and excellent verbal and written communication skills
