Senior Engineering Technician

The City of Simi Valley is recruiting for a Senior Engineering Technician.  The Senior Engineering Technician will perform a variety of tasks related in the performance of sub-professional engineering office, design assistance, drafting, as well as provide customer service support.

Our Minimum Qualifications for consideration: Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:

Education: Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade supplemented by two years of college level course work in engineering, drafting or related area.

Experience: Three years of increasingly responsible technical engineering experience at a level comparable to an Engineering Technician with the City

License/Certificates: Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid driver’s license.
