Lab Technician
Hourly Payrate: $16 to $20
Schedule: Monday - Friday 11:30am to 8:00pm (Training will be performed on first shift)
The Lab Technician will provide support to the lab and perform a variety of laboratory tasks along with analyzes and testing of material
- Prepares and analyzes samples as assigned
- Calculates and reports analytical results
- Participates in general lab housekeeping, including sample sorting and disposal
- Cleans glassware to appropriate analytical cleanliness standards.
- Responsible for cleanliness and orderliness or work areas used during the workday.
- Follows the Waste Analysis Plan and Chemical Hygiene Plan.
- Communicates technical information orally and written.
- Performs other job-related duties assigned.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field preferred or equivalent work experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of waste industry and prior experience working in a lab preferred
- Ability to perform multiple tasks
- High attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft office suite or similar software
