Job Summary

The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic, curious, and passionate about the work that they do within a cutting-edge scientific lab and able to able to commit to our research for at least 2 years.
Experience and Education
- Bachelor’s degree with major coursework in field of assignment and no experience required. OR
- Two (2) years college with emphasis in coursework in field of assignment and two (2) years of laboratory experience at level of Laboratory Technical Assistant or equivalent. OR
- High school graduation or GED and four (4) years laboratory experience to include two (2) years at level of Laboratory Technical Assistant or equivalent.
Job Duties
We are looking for enthusiastic and passionate individuals to join our team and contribute to our scientific research. Key responsibilities are :
- Performs scientific research work in molecular biology, biochemistry and other related fields
- Operates and/or maintains various laboratory equipment and apparatus.
- Records research data in accordance with prescribed procedures, discussing results with supervisor.
- Assists in collection of data for project reports.
- Reads literature and confers with supervisor concerning implementation of new procedures.
- Maintains lab inventory by ordering reagents, replenishing reagents, and consumables, as necessary.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
