Seeking Jr. Mechanical Engineer (BSME degree) (3 Openings) 

Client is Northrop Grumman in Palmdale, CA

General Description: 

Project Management, CATIA, Design, Aircraft manufacturing and assembly knowledge, GD&T, Customer service, Excel

Assists/Oversee the design, fabrication, installation of industrial machinery and equipment, tools, dies, gauges, jigs, fixtures, and machine attachments required for production or experimental use, considering such factors as accessibility, economy, mobility, and performance requirements.

- Execution/Lead/Coordination of design and fabrication requirements for tools and fixtures with customers, both internal and external.
- Support root cause failure investigations and implement associated corrective actions.
- Assist Team with new product designs to ensure manufacturability, validate process/ technology.
- Experience managing projects, creating presentations, working in a team

Day-to-day tasks: 

• Working with manufacturing team/leadership, presenting issues and concerns, working issues on the floor

Education requirement:

• No (treat BS in Engineering as a strong plus, if sending entry level as opposed to experience, then likely going to need degree)
