2024 Summer Intern: Advanced Manufacturing

This position is based at Peterbilt’s Engineering Administration Building next to our Manufacturing Plant in Denton, Texas, where we have been headquartered since 1980. Requisition Summary

Peterbilt Motors Company, a PACCAR Company, has an opening for an Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Intern to add to our Advanced Manufacturing Team in Denton, Texas. 

 

Job Functions / Responsibilities

This position will be working on various projects and reports to include but not limited to:

Tooling Engineering

  • Assist local supplier tooling audits
  • Assist routing of tooling authorization approvals
  • Work with suppliers to analyze tooling requirements 
  • Update Supplier capacity records

 

Program/Product:

  • PFMEA Database/Moving PFMEAs to WRR
  • Labor Study Database
  • WRR Input for manufacturing 
  • New Rack Automated Flow Process
  • \Pulling PQI/DPU Dta ad Disseminating to WBS 
  • Refresh the ORB plant equipment documents 
  • MFG Master Model 

 

 

Qualifications & Skills

The candidate we seek will be currently enrolled in an Engineering, Business, or related program.
