About this Role
We are seeking a motivated, results-oriented college student to join our team for Summer 2024. The Carrier internship experience offers interns an environment that provides practical, challenging, and meaningful on-the-job work experience, and the opportunity to apply knowledge and demonstrate strengths in efforts to assist Carrier in achieving its business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the successful development of new and exciting DC and AC distribution systems for Homes and Transport Refrigeration systems.
- Work on design concepts for our next-generation battery modules,
- Perform component-level modeling and characterization of power converters, fuel cells, and Lithium Ion batteries.
- Develop system-level models for energy management.
- Go from concept to implementation and see your ideas working in the Lab
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 3.0 or higher GPA
- Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently working on research projects related to energy management, energy storage and/or power electronics distribution systems
- Pursuing Masters or PhD in Electrical Engineering
