Engineering Student Intern

Hansen, Allen & Luce (HAL) is seeking part-time engineering student interns to work in our South Jordan, Utah office during Summer 2024.  An internship at HAL will provide work on real engineering projects such as pipelines, treatment plants, landfills, and reservoirs.  Projects may involve:

  • Planning (modeling, analysis, research, mapping)
  • Design (hydraulics, CAD, equipment selection)
  • Field work (construction observation, data collection)
  • Project management (client meetings, contracts, budgets, scheduling)

Qualified applicants must be enrolled in an accredited civil or environmental engineering program. An interest in water resources engineering is essential. Experience with AutoCAD and ArcGIS is highly desirable. Strong writing skills are preferred. Work schedule is flexible to accommodate classes.
