Associate Manufacturing Engineer

The Associate Manufacturing Engineer demonstrates leadership in communicating, developing, and executing new product’s and process’s to assigned projects. Supports daily activities in process developments, validation activities, and change management. In this role you will utilize your experience and expertise to solve problems, develop & execute objectives, complete hands on workflow & have the ability to meet company objectives within the timelines specifically related to your assigned projects.

Essential Responsibilities:

·        Support and develop risk assessment initiatives aligned to AIAG FMEA guidelines.
·        Support and develop quality assurance initiatives aligned to AIAG Control Plan guidelines.
·        Support the development, facilitation, qualification, and execution of Internal PPAP, Quality and
Build initiatives.
·        Support and develop the implementation of fixtures and various tooling activities ensuring
completion of all measurement system analysis (MSA) (Gage R&R) qualification requirements
per customer standards.
·        Support, facilitate and coordinate design change initiatives.
·        Support the review and update preventative maintenance documents for review.
·        Support and develop standard operating procedures where required. Monitor FPY data
collection.
·        Support, develop and perform document audits to assigned work flow cells.
·        Ability to update CAD, CREO, Pro-E files where applicable.
·        Coordinate, prepare, and help execute DOEs per the Matrix output.
·        Insure PDN’s, PCN’s, and Quality Plans are updated and in alignment with current project
status and match CP and WI.
·        Ability to travel up to 30% where required. Assignment may not be local to the Peoria area for
future client support. 

Qualifications/Requirements:
·        B.S in Engineering, Technical Practice, or Equivalent
·        Minimum intern experience in an engineering, quality, Production, and or Manufacturing
Operations.
·        Ability to support the development and execution of continues improvement initiatives.
·        Has practical knowledge with Manufacturing Processes and procedures
Is a self-starter and can execute assigned projects with minimal supervision.
·        Has practical knowledge of GD&T.
