Internship Opportunity: Airline Food Production Logistics Operations
LSG Sky Chefs is offering an exciting internship opportunity for a student to gain valuable hands-on experience in operations within the airline food production logistics field.
As an intern, you will have the chance to work closely with our team, contributing to operational support and process improvement strategies. You will also play a vital role in troubleshooting and resolving issues while keeping the management informed of activities and any significant problems. Your input will be essential in documenting and implementing improvements to department processes.
Some of the things you will be apart of and gain experience in:
- Gain hands-on experience in airline food production logistics with LSG Sky Chefs
- Provide operational and management support as needed
- Contribute to team process improvement strategies
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues, escalating to management when necessary
- Keep management informed of area activities and significant problems
- Document and implement process improvements
- Assist in overseeing production lines and ensuring quality control measures
- Help set up service level agreements (SLA) and process flow
- Monitor and evaluate food product quality at various production stages
- Support cold food productivity initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Hospitality Management, or Food Production Technology (in progress or completed)
- 6 months to 1-year experience in logistics or hospitality preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong presentation, writing, and editing abilities
