Internship - Lean Manufacturing / Process Improvement
CALLING ALL INTERNS - LSG Sky Chefs has an internship opening in our Orlando Customer Service Center to shadow and assist the Process Improvement Manager with LEAN projects throughout the food production plant.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist LPS manager with 5S+1 for the facility and conduct 5S+1 audits
- Assist LPS manager with Lean transformation projects
- Assist LPS manager with Training and implementation of lean tools
- Assist LPS manager and departments with documenting and implementing standard work and visual management.
Education, Skills, and Experience:
- Have some working knowledge of lean tools and implementation either classroom or working experience
- Must be flexible with hours (possible nights and weekends) to implement lean projects
- Problem solving methodologies
- Engineering or business background (college student or working) preferred
- Working knowledge of Visio, Microsoft Office, Minitab (preferred but not required)
