Youth Sports Paid Summer Internship - Puget Sound

Youth Sports Paid Summer Internship
 
We are actively searching for Interns to help serve our Puget Sound Territory, one of our largest territories within our Company. This territory is divided up into three different regions:

NE Puget: Bellevue, Bothell, Kenmore, Kirkland, Lake Stevens, Monroe, Newcastle, Redmond, Sammamish, Snohomish, Issaquah, King County, and North Bend.

NW Puget:  Anacortes, Bellingham, Burien, Burlington, Edmonds, Everett, Lynnwood, Mill Creek, Mount Vernon, Mountlake Terrace, Mukilteo, Renton, SeaTac, Seattle, Shoreline, South Whidbey, and Tukwila.

South Puget: Tumwater, Covington, Lacey, Fircrest, Maple Valley, Federal Way, Chehalis, Bethel, Kent, Tenino, Des Moines, Lakewood, Pierce County, Auburn, Puyallup, Pacific, Fife, Tacoma, and Algona.

All interns must be able to work in at least one of the cities mentioned above!

We are actively searching for quality interns to take part in our Skyhawks Summer Programming this season. These interns will be working alongside our Summer Coaching staff to ensure that all camps and programs are running at an optimal level. Interns will be managing site locations, coordinating with Coaches and Directors to optimize the camp experience for our local youth, partaking in customer service, and writing up weekly reports 
 
We are looking for outgoing, passionate, and self-motivated students.  You must enjoy sports, working with kids, and be able to work independently.
 
Internship duration

June 2023 to August 2023
Shifts: Monday-Friday 9am-3:00pm or 9am - 12pm and Saturdays 9:00am-12:00pm
 
What are the components of the internship program?
  • Customer Service: We will teach you how to effectively communicate, influence, and interact with all types of customers, co-workers, and kids. 
  • Inventory Management and Control:  Proper equipment is essential when carrying out Skyhawks curriculum. You will learn to efficiently allocate equipment and inventory needed for camps and classes. 
  • Site Management: Each week, interns will be assigned 1-4 nearby programming locations. Interns will be coordinating with Coaches and Directors at these locations to ensure each location’s needs are being met.
  • Quality Control: This will be a top priority throughout the Summer Season. Interns must ensure that the quality of each camp is  held at a premium level. 
  • Coaching & Directing: All interns will be coaching alongside our Summer staff throughout our camps and programs.
  • Reporting: Interns will be writing weekly reports to our Area Manager highlighting successes at our programming, areas that need improvement, and what steps that need to be taken to make those adjustments.

Compensation:
$400-$600 per week
