Four-Wheel Drive Loader (4WDL) Structures Product Engineer
This position is eligible for a flexible work schedule arrangement at the present time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.
Your Responsibilities
As a Four-Wheel Drive Loader (4WDL) Structures Product Engineer for John Deere located in Dubuque, IA, you will:
- Design structures and sheet metal for 4WDL’s that are manufactured in Davenport, IA.
- Develop and evaluate design solutions for new Product Development Programs that meet machine performance, structural component goals, cost targets, and schedules.
- Support future 4WDL portfolio needs by participating in projects following the Integrated Systems Development Process (ISDP).
- Contribute to product design guidelines, design books, DTW’s, and engineering analysis procedures for 4WDL's.
- Provide leadership and work coordination for contract and resources.

· Experience with 3D modeling software.
- Familiarity with Construction, Forestry, or Ag off-road equipment.
- Cross-functional experience related to PV&V, FEA, and/or manufacturing teams.
- Experience working with vendors, suppliers, and contract engineering firms.
Education Details
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related engineering degree.
