Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineer (QA)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. This position will be performing regression and integration testing, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to improvements for our testing process. The Manufacturing Test Engineer will work closely with senior engineers to identify and troubleshoot manufacturing issues, develop and implement testing solutions, and support production teams in achieving product quality objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform functional, regression, manual, and system testing to ensure the quality of software products
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality and performance
  • Identify, report, and troubleshoot software issues, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and reliability, including development, design, and product management
  • Conduct data analysis and research to identify areas for improvement in software testing processes and procedures
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and support cross-functional teams 
  • Write and update Work Instructions (WI) pertaining to the position and department
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree: Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Computer Engineering or a related field
  • Knowledge of software testing processes and methodologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in software testing tools, test management systems, and defect tracking systems
  • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and Scrum development methodologies 
Salary: 
  • $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Schedule:
  • Full-time, 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Orem, UT 84097: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
