Systems Engineer (Requirements)

The Opportunity

Williams International has an exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineer (Requirements) to join our team.

The Systems Engineer (Requirements) will:

  • Specification/Contractual Documentation requirement verification of proper flow-downs and Williams International’s compliance
  • Identification and management of risk of areas where non-compliance may exist
  • Assisting in specification preparation for lower level documents, as well as compliance test plans/reports
  • Verification of requirements throughout the life cycle of the product (including participation in tests, as well as reviewing test/compliance reports)
  • Ensuring that artifacts of compliance clearly trace to the originating source document

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Math or Statics
  • 5 years experience in related aerospace industry in requirements management or systems engineering
  • Understanding of Requirements Verification and Validation processes
  • Organizational skills and ability to produce a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Interpersonal skills, as well as effective negotiation and conflict-resolution skills
  • Written communication skills and proficiency in document preparation
  • Familiarity with ARP 4754/ARP 4761/DO-160/DO-178/DO-254 certification
  • U. S. citizenship is required
  • Position requires the ability to obtain a U. S. Government Security Clearance, if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U. S. Salary Range: $82,000 - $130,000
