Agriculture Operations - Internship
Haws Farms is looking for students to intern on a farm based out of Newton, Utah. We are seeking somebody who is passionate about Agriculture and has the desire to help run over 1,400 acres of alfalfa hay, corn, triticale, barley, and wheat. You will be working and learning under industry professionals that have been in agriculture for over 40 years.
Seasonal Summer Full-time and part-time positions are available with flexible start and end dates. There is also the possibility to continue into the fall on a part-time school accommodating basis.
Responsibilities
- Operate self-propelled swather, tractors, front-loaders, trucks, and other heavy machinery.
- Maintain and perform basic repairs on tractors and other farm equipment.
- Help manage irrigation systems, including pivots, wheel lines, and handlines.
- Assist in other miscellaneous jobs around the farm

Wage: Starts at $15 - $18 an hour but will increase depending on experience.
