We are seeking a motivated, passionate Digital Verification Engineer to support TBD BU. 
Responsible for a wide variety of advanced verification tasks, including designing automated test benches using System Verilog VUM; designing UVM components such as bus functional models, monitors, and behavioral models etc.; implementing functional coverage and assertions; and developing test and functional coverage plans based on device specifications. This position will also be responsible for analyzing and debugging simulation failures, as well as analyzing functional coverage results.
Located at ADI’s Maxim Integrated, Beaverton OR.  (Hybrid)
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
  • Digital Verification of complex SOC.
  • Working with design, and architecture teams to verify design requirements
  • Creation of verification plans, tests and verification methodology for block and chip-level verification.
  • Testbench development
  • Functional modeling
  • RTL design
  • Digital simulation, and simulation debug
  • Use of industry leading CAE tools for digital simulation
Minimum qualifications:
  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent
  • Coding experience in Verilog, System Verilog or VHDL
  • Proficiency in digital circuit design
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as perl/python, Unix shell
  • Experience using industry standard logic simulation tools like Questa, VCS or NCSIM
  • Experience in object-oriented programming using any high level language
  • Ability to learn quickly and demonstrate strong problem solving and trouble shooting skills
  • Should be able to work independently and proactively.
Preferred qualifications (Additional Skills being looked for):
  • UVM
  • Experience with System Verilog Assertions
  • Experience with System Verilog Functional Coverage
  • Any projects on FPGA/matlab would benefit
  • Understanding of signal processing/filtering background
  • Good understanding of ADCs/DACs
  • Basic understanding of pipe lining, 8085/any-other-assembly language
  • Experience with C/C++
