Join the iCoupler technology group! Work with us to introduce novel signal and power isolation components to the market. This position is for a device engineer based in Wilmington, MA. Activities include designing and modeling novel device architectures, and coordinating and characterizing new fabrication and assembly processes in support of next generation products.
As a Device Engineer, you will perform a full range of product development activities including, but not limited to: 
  • Design and model novel device architectures;
  • Collaborate with internal manufacturing and external foundries to develop new processes;
  • Design test plans and carry out fundamental materials characterization of novel isolation structures;
  • Interface with quality and reliability groups to develop and implement reliability models;
  • Support application engineers and key customers with device-related issues;
  • Collaborate with external research groups or universities on new material, process and device concepts.
Requirements:

  • MS or PhD (preferred) in EE, Mat Sci or Physics
  • Ability to work independently with strong initiative and good judgment required
  • Experience with finite elemental modeling software strongly recommended
  • Knowledge of dielectric physics and high voltage isolation a plus
  • Experience with MEMS fabrication, IC processing techniques a plus
  • Knowledge of power electronic ICs a plus
  • Experience with ferromagnetic materials a plus
  • Willingness and ability to learn something new quickly
  • Comfortable taking calculated risks
  • Innately curious with a desire to understand the business model, operations, financial structure for the organization
  • Has a bias for action and works in collaboration with others to deliver results
  • High tolerance for ambiguity
