As ADI expands into new product and market segments, we are looking for an LTspice Software Engineer who will be responsible for:

  • Support internal device modeling engineers in how device models are expected and supported by LTspice
  • Support internal users of LTspice for becoming experts who in turn can provide the equivalent to external users when required
  • Support internal SharePoint infrastructure to support internal LTspice device modeling engineers
  • Maintain device models and example applications in the Akamai servers current for users to have their system updated
  • Maintain LTspice multiple platform application(s) in the Akamai servers for users to have their system updated
  • Develop and use LTspice application installation for public release to be installed in the multiple versions of Windows, Mac OS and Linux operating systems as shown in detail bellow.
  • Maintain good and professional communications dialog with both internal and external customers. 
  • Build and support LTspice installation application for MacOS, Windows and Linux in their multiple versions of the operating systems for world wide deployment
In this position, you will:

  • Support existing SharePoint infrastructure for all internal LTspice modeling and development teams
  • Support existing Akamai infrastructure for all internal LTspice modeling and development teams to keep content current for internal and external users
  • Build and support LTspice installation application for internal and external users running LTspice in the following Windows OS versions:
  • Desktop options:
  • Windows 7 (32 and 64-bit options)
  • Windows 8 (32 and 64-bit options)
  • Windows 10 (32 and 64-bit options)
  • Windows 11 (32 and 64-bit options)

  • 10.12: "Sierra" on Intel Processor

  • Build and support LTspice installation application for internal and external users running LTspice in Linux OS versions including:

  • Fedora
  • Support internal users to build LTspice releases for general useof the tool and the content including models
  • Track and manage list of reported issues
  • Troubleshoot the issues to identify if the real issue is due to the tool itself or the content such as schematics and / or models
  • Troubleshoot if the issue is due to user use of the tool
  • Troubleshot if the operating system is setup in ways that will make LTspice have problems running due to local policies such as security ones.
  • Troubleshot if the local user setup is making LTspice run into issues
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve LTspice
What you need to be successful in this role:

  • BSEE or MSEE with strong experience in Electrical Engineering applications.
  • Ability to work independently and important to be a self-starter.
  • Advanced and in depth understanding of all Windows, MacOS and Linux operating systems supported by LTspice
  • By having access to source code to troubleshoot LTspice issues
  • Participated in design and peer reviews with other developers.
  • Familiar with microelectronics circuit design and some level of programming skill useful.
  • Experience with SPICE algorithms. is a plus.

The wage range for a new hire into this position is $90,620 to $124,603.
  • Actual wage offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, training, external market data, internal equity, or other bona fide factors.
  • This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
