            Working in the ADI Grass Valley Design Center the successful candidate will work alongside global leaders in analog circuit design.  The role is multi-faceted and the successful candidate will be asked to perform a wide variety of tasks requiring a very broad range of skill level. 
Required Skills

  • Have excellent intuitive and logical reasoning along with a mastery of the scientific method. 
  • Have full command of lab test equipment used in analog circuit design and evaluation. 
  • Excellent hand, eye coordination.
  • Analog circuit design, discrete component level.
  • Have the emotional maturity to work with minimal supervision.
  • High reliability hand soldering and assembly
  • Experience with Python routine writing
Job Description
  • Create PCB’s for use with high performance Temperature Sensors, Solid State Protection Devices and DC/DC converters
  • Assemble and/or rework PCB’s using surface mount components and techniques.
  • Design and build custom test fixtures and systems using automation techniques and software development when required.
  • Observe and record data at all stages of circuit development with a high degree of reliability and accuracy.   
  • Effectively and efficiently communicate any observed anomalies or concerns observed while working with new or existing silicon to the chip designer.  Work the issue through until you are satisfied that it has been addressed.
  • Cooperate with QA department performing experiments to isolate root cause and present your results in a clear, concise format.
  • Develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with component vendors.
  • Probe new or revised silicon to evaluate and debug at transistor level.

The wage range for a new hire into this position is $78,800 to $108,350.
  • Actual wage offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, training, external market data, internal equity, or other bona fide factors.
  • This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
