Under the mentorship of the EHS team, the EHS intern will undertake projects directed at specific topics such as:

  • Safety & Industrial Hygiene
  • Industrial Hygiene monitoring activities to include safety ventilation, radiation, and noise testing protocols
  • Chemical safety management and auditing
  • Industrial safety program review such as fall protection management
  • Hazard communication program auditing and modernization
  • Sustainability
  • Research opportunities to improve water use reduction and recycling
  • Support our greenhouse-gas-reduction and zero-waste-to-landfill commitments through research and action
  • General
  • Interact with a variety of teams including manufacturing operations, maintenance, and engineering
Support daily EHS activities and program development, maintenance, and training as needed.
Previous Experience/Skills Needed & Education Requirements

  • Currently working towards a bachelor’s or master’s degree in the fields of safety, environment, or engineering.
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally with excellent time management skills
  • Independent learner and a self-starter
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). 
  • Prefer a candidate with experience on SharePoint and/or web design.
  • Prefer a candidate with prior work/internship experience who has a passion for safety and environmental stewardship. 
For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export  licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.  As such, applicants for this position – except US Citizens, US Permanent Residents, and protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) – may have to go through an export licensing review process.
