Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
  • Pre- and post-sale customer support for GMSL SerDes.
  • Be a trusted technical resource to customers to secure design wins.
  • Creation of technical documents such as: datasheets, application notes, whitepapers, and customer presentation material.
  • Develop and produce reports on system level testing designed to show how GMSL products are aligned with customer requirements.
  • Write technical documentation to support customer designs, produce evaluation boards, as well as full system operation.
  • Provide reference designs.
  • Interface with customers and the business team to understand market trends and customer needs to create product roadmaps.
  • Provide trainings to field engineers and customer engineers globally.
  • Travel domestic & globally to engage with key partner customers and Maxim internal staff .
Minimum qualifications
  • BSEE required
  • Basic knowledge of electronic systems architecture, design, and hardware debug experience.
  • Understanding of PCB design and layout.
  • Experience with general analog and digital circuits.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently as well as work with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to travel 2-3 weeks per quarter.
Preferred qualifications
  • Comprehension of inter-chip communication protocols like I2C, UART, and SPI.
  • Basic understanding of digital signaling, signal integrity and S-Parameters. 
  • Experience with Linux operation systems or embedded systems.
