As an Analog IC Design Engineer, you will:
  • Design new power IC products in a team setting
  • Develop and simulate system-level and transistor-level circuits using state of the art simulation tools
  • Develop IC layout plans and work with layout engineers; design IC packaging
  • Evaluate and debug ICs in a lab setting with wide array of test equipment
  • Implement circuit fixes as needed to bring circuits into production
  • Study customer applications and feedback as basis for continuous design/product improvement
What you need to be successful in this role:
  • Understanding fundamentals of analog/mixed circuit design and device physics
  • Experience with circuit design/simulation toolsets such as Cadence
  • Passion and dedication in taking ownership of a project from start to finish
  • Ability to find and fix circuit and application problems in the laboratory
  • Diligence to work independently and be self-directed; detail oriented
  • Enthusiasm for collaboration and sharing knowledge with colleagues
Requirements:
  • B.S. or M.S. in EE or similar with significant electrical circuits/simulation coursework
  • Coursework or experience in power electronics a plus

The wage range for a new hire into this position is $73,600 to $101,200.
  • Actual wage offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, training, external market data, internal equity, or other bona fide factors.
  • This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
